PUTTING LISLEVANE ON THE MAP

The small West Cork village of Lislevane was always overshadowed by popular Courtmacsherry, historic Timoleague and prestigous, Clonakilty, Ireland's first Fairtrade town.

In fact Lislevane wasn't on any map and it didn't even have a village sign!

So in 1998 the Lislevane Community Association was formed, it was time to take action.

After a lot of planning and hard work, Lislevane is now a vibrant village which is much admired by locals and visitors alike.

We have a commitee of four people:-

Chairperson - John Madden
Treasurer - Ann Murphy
Secretary - Sandra O'Hagan
All assisted by - Mary Keohane

This small, yet dynamic, team receive excellent support from it's members and the local community.
